Here are some of the projects that we have contributed to:

Palmerstown Stud, Johnstown, Co. Kildare: Client- BDL.

An exciting Hotel, Golf course, Residential and Business Park development proposal for County Kildare.

CF&A coordinated the contribution of all consultants for this project, including Christy O'Connor Jnr for the Golf course design, Bord na Mona for the Environmental Impact Statement, DWP for the Road and Bridge design, SES for the Sanitary and Sewage Services, John Spain for Planning consultancy and Fergusson McIlveen for Photomontage preparation.

This proposed development would provide an integrated scheme of business, housing and recreational facilities in close proximity to Naas. The application, which took over a year and a half to compile, was submitted to Kildare County Council in August 2000. It is estimated that this application will require a further year and a half in the planning phase. This application is the largest ever in the history of the Irish state. Subject to this application being granted, the development will be carried out in phases, due to be completed by 2010.

Housing Development, Castlemartin, Kilcullen, Co. Kildare: Client - Thatchford Properties. Conor Furey & Associates were instrumental in the design of this planning application which comprises of 192, 3 & 4 bedroom detached and semi detached houses. We specialise in the design and planning of housing developments of this nature and to date have been very successful in our approach to considering infrastructure, environmental impact, density and roads issues, such that the planning application conforms to county planning considerations.

Beladd Park, Portlaoise, Co.Laios: client- Department of Justice.

Conor Furey & Associates were retained by the Department of Justice to assess the viability of decommissioning a central heating ducting system in a housing estate comprising of 60 dwellings. The brief was to advise on the installation of a stand-alone gas fired central heating system in each property and to supply an accurate cost estimate for the above works currently underway. We were also retained to survey 13 of these houses prior to renovation.

Housing Development, Two Mile Borris, Thurles, Co. Tipperary: Client- C&C Developments.

This was an exclusive development of 34 houses consisting of 16 3 bed-roomed bungalows, 16 3 bed-roomed semi-detached houses and 2 4 bed-roomed bungalows, positioned on a site in a small village that had a requirement for an injection of dynamic growth.

Factory Unit Extension @ Wilson Transport, Damastown, Mulhuddart, Co. Dublin: Client- AGM Construction.

This 50,000 sq. ft. extension was designed and incorporated with an existing factory unit. This also included extra car parking facilities for 116 cars and the erection of a 1.8m high palisade boundary fence.
